2. Why should I buy an umbrella fold buggy?

There is no need to purchase a heavy, bulky and expensive transportation system only to realize you need another lightweight option when your newborn becomes a toddler. By purchasing one Maclaren buggy equipped with our Newborn Safety System™ and compatible Carrycot, the ideal lie flat environment, you are now providing yourself and your child the most practical and safest form of transportation.

6. Is there a recommended age limit for my Maclaren buggy?

Most children determine at what age they no longer want to be in a stroller. We suggest you allow your child to guide your stroller usage.

7. Do Maclaren buggy seats recline?

Maclaren offers a variety of buggy seat positions. The four position recline mechanism locks in four specific recline points. Buggies with a multiple position option come with a recline mechanism which the user can customize. To explore, click here

8. Are Maclaren buggies car seat compatible?

The buggies in our current product offering are not car seat compatible. Instead of a car seat travel system Maclaren offers a Carrycot system, an ideal lie-flat environment which is both healthier and safer for baby. According to The American Academy of Pediatrics infants "should spend minimal time in car seats (when not a passenger in a vehicle)." Spending unnecessary time in the curved position of an infant car seat has been shown to cause plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), oxygen desaturation and spinal development delays. So when the automobile destination has been reached, we recommend the lie-flat environment of a Carrycot. This position encourages better digestion, good body alignment and proper respiration.

9. Why should I consider buying a carrycot?

According to The American Academy of Pediatrics infants "should spend minimal time in car seats (when not a passenger in a vehicle)." Spending unnecessary time in the curved position of an infant car seat has been shown to cause plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), oxygen desaturation and spinal development delays. So when the automobile destination has been reached, we recommend the lie-flat environment of a Carrycot. This position encourages better digestion, good body alignment and proper respiration.

10. Which buggies are compatible with the Maclaren Carrycot?

The Maclaren Carrycot is compatible with our Quest, Techno XT and Twin Techno buggies. The Maclaren XLR Carrycot is compatible the Techno XLR.

11. What buggy / stroller models do the Universal Liners work with?

Our Universal Liners can be used on any of our buggy / stroller models except the Mark II Buggy. The Mark II buggy seat is slightly tapered requiring its own collection of seat liners.

12. How do I attach the blanket to my buggy?

The Reversible Buggy Blanket conveniently includes four plastic clips which secure the blanket onto the buggy frame. To keep a snug fit, we recommend clipping the blanket to the frame above waist height and above the footrest.

13. What is the recommended age for the Junior Buggy and the Deluxe Activity Sets?

Our Junior Buggies and Deluxe Activity Sets are recommended for children age 3 and over. The items contain small parts which present a choking hazard for children under 3 years old.

14. What size doll fits in the Junior Buggy?

Our Junior Buggies fit dolls up to 18"/46 cm.

15. Is assembly required with the Junior Buggy and the Deluxe Activity Set?

Simple one-time assembly is required when the items are taken out of the packaging. No tools are needed.

16. What is included in the Activity Bag?

Besides being the perfect size for children to carry their favorite trinkets wherever they go, Activity Bags include a notepad and colored pencils.

Counterfeit Products

1. Do you support products purchased second hand, through consignment or non-authorized retailers?

No, we do not support products purchased second-hand, through consignment or non-authorized retailers in anyway.

2. Where can I purchase authentic Maclaren products?

Authentic Maclaren products are available for sale on our website ( and at our authorized retailers (stores and websites). To find an authorized retailer near you, click here.

Please note, we do not sell merchandise through individuals, street vendors, flea markets, unauthorized retail locations/websites, or at second hand / consignment stores. If you buy an alleged Maclaren product through an non-authorized dealer, you could be purchasing a counterfeit.

3. How do I make sure I am not purchasing a counterfeit product?

The only way to know you are purchasing a true Maclaren product is to purchase from either our website - - or one of our authorized retailers.

Just like many other sought after brands, counterfeit Maclaren products are being produced and marketed on a frequent basis. While the items may mirror the look and feel of our products, they are fake and do not meet our standards. We do not support these products in anyway.


1. How can I buy a limited edition designer buggy?

Limited edition designer buggies are part of our Maclaren Object of Design series. Discover our latest designer collaborations here.

The limited edition Burberry, Juicy Couture, and Kate Spade strollers are no longer available.

2. What is the importance of buying from an Authorized Retailer?

Purchasing from an Authorized Maclaren Retailer ensures you are getting an authentic Maclaren product that meets our rigorous quality and safety standards. In addition, Maclaren product warranties are only honored when the product is purchased through an Authorized Maclaren retailer.

3. Can Maclaren ship to P.O. Box and APO/FPO or U.S. Protectorate addresses?

Currently we cannot ship to P.O. Box, FPO/APO shipping addresses or U.S. Protectorates (American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands).

4. When will I receive the products I ordered on the Maclaren website?

All orders are shipped via standard shipping and will take 7 to 10 business days from time the order is placed.

5. How can I track the status an order placed on the Maclaren website?

Check your order status even if you are not a registered user by clicking on Order Status. You will need to provide your order number and billing zip code. An order confirmation email will be sent once your order has been received.

6. What payment methods does Maclaren accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. You will be required to provide your name, credit card number, expiration date, and the Card Verification Value (CVV number).

7. How do I return a product purchased on the Maclaren website?

Maclaren Products purchased on our website may be returned within 60 days from the shipping date. Items must be unused and returned in their original package. Style Sets and Bundles must be returned as a complete group.

8. How long will my refund take?

Once we process your return, the refund will be issued to the original form of payment. Credit card companies vary on the amount of time it takes to display the refund on your statement, but generally it takes 1 – 2 billing cycles.

9. Does Maclaren offer price adjustments?

We hope you find that our expertly designed buggies and baby products are consistently offered at excellent values for you and your family. We do not offer price adjustments.

My Account

1. Can I change my account settings?

Yes, you may edit your account information including credit card information, billing and shipping address, as well as modify your wish list and change your password. Go to My Account and select the field you wish to add, edit, or delete, then click apply to make your.

2. What if I forget my password?

Please go to My Account and click the Forgot Your Password link. A Reset Password window will open and prompt you to enter the email address associated with your account. We'll send you a link to reset your password to that email address.

3. When will my account be charged?

The payment amount is authorized and held by your financial institution at the time you place your order. Your account is only charged when your order ships.

Please note: authorized and hold amounts will not be available for other purchases. If an order is cancelled, the authorization hold will expire in accordance with the terms of your bank or financial institution.



1. What is the Maclaren Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty (SLW)?

The Maclaren Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty is built upon the expectation that when you purchase a buggy from or an authorized retailer, you receive a guarantee of quality, engineered to withstand years of use. If, during your lifetime of use, you find any defect in material or workmanship, or the product should fail to function with proper use and care, we will gladly repair or replace it. 2. What products are eligible for Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty?

Currently all of our buggies/ strollers can be registered for our Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty that are within 60 days of purchase or within 60 days of receipt as a gift.

3. How do I activate the Maclaren Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty?

Simply register your stroller online within 60 days of purchase or within 60 days of receipt as a gift. When registering you will need to provide:

  • Your contact information (full name, address, telephone number, email address)
  • Purchase Details including an image of the receipt
  • Buggy Type

    4. Who can register for the Maclaren Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty (SLW)?

    Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty is valid for the original purchaser or gift recipient of a buggy. Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable.

    5. Who accepts the Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty?

    The Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty is recognized by Maclaren Authorized Service Centre/Service Agent anywhere in the world. To find an authorized service center click here.

    6. What does “Lifetime” mean?

    Maclaren defines "Lifetime" as the period of use by the Registrant for his/her children and is non-transferable.

    7. How long is the warranty?

    Your Maclaren product is warranted to be free from any manufacturing defects for the statutory period allowed in each country as long as you are the original owner. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is valid on products operated under normal use and in compliance with the operating instructions.

    8. What does the warranty cover?

    Our warranty covers manufacturer defects as long as you are the original owner of the product under normal use and under compliance with the operating instructions. The warranty does not cover claims and damages from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Product misuse / failure to follow operating instructions
  • Abuse, carelessness, improper care / storage
  • Modification or alteration of the product
  • Service / repair from non-authorized service center
  • Third party parts or accessories
  • Air transportation or freight damage
  • Product dissatisfaction

    9. What do I do if there is something wrong with my buggy after my warranty has expired and I did not sign up for the Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty?

    10. How do I make a claim if I am experiencing issues covered by the warranty?

    If you are experiencing issues covered by the warranty, please CONTACT US. You will need to provide:

  • Description and image(s) of what is wrong
  • Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty Registration or Proof of purchase (i.e. copy of the store receipt, gift receipt or evidence of place of purchase with date of purchase). Please note that items without Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty Registration or Proof of Purchase are not covered under the warranty.

    11. Where can I find the VIN and Product Code for my Maclaren buggy /stroller?

    The unique VIN number and Product Code for your buggy is located on the back of the warranty booklet and underneath the chassis or seat support tube depending on the buggy model. click here for a diagram to help you locate your VIN and Product Code.

    12. What is CPSIA Product Registration? (USA only)

    The CPSIA Product Registration ensures you will be contacted if there is a safety alert or recall on the product purchased. Click here to register online. If you register online, you do not need to fill out the card that came with your product.

    13. How will you use my personal details provided on the Sovereign™ Lifetime Warranty (SLW) registration form?

    Maclaren values your privacy and will not sell or make available your name or contact information to any third party. The personal information we gather will be used to confirm that your stroller is registered when you contact an Authorized Service Centre/Service Agent. Your information also assists Maclaren to design better products and services, as well as to provide you with timely information on new products or notify you if there is a safety issue with your product.

    Repairs and Spare Parts

    1. What are the recommended care guidelines for my buggy?

    The buggy seat may be removed and machine washed - see care labels for details and dry thoroughly before reuse. Maclaren does not recommend using bleach, dry cleaning, or ironing.

    The hood may be sponged lightly using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

    We recommend cleaning your buggy frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Let it dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasives.

    If the buggy chassis parts have been exposed to salt water, we recommend that they be rinsed with fresh (tap) water as soon as possible.

    Do not fold or store your buggy while wet and never store in a damp environment as this can cause mildew.


    2. The wheels on my Maclaren stroller are squeaking. What can I do?

    First, check to see that your wheels are clean and free of any dirt or debris. To clean the wheels, use a soft brush to remove any hair, sand, string, dirt, or debris from the mechanisms. A dry silicone spray (e.g. 3M 08897) can be used to lubricate the wheels; however, be sure to use it in a well-ventilated area. Avoid the use of oil or grease based lubricants (e.g. WD-40) as they attract more dirt and dust, which can prematurely wear the wheel bearing surfaces. If wheels are exposed to salt water, rinse immediately with tap / fresh water and dry thoroughly. We recommend that you inspect your wheels and front-swivel mechanism once every 60 days.

    3. What should I do if my buggy needs repair?

    Visit our Authorized Service Centre to find the nearest location to service your buggy.

    4. How long will my repair take?

    The repair time at an Authorized Service Centre/Service Agent is usually 7-10 business days. Should your repair require ordering special parts then it can take 10-15 business days. Please consult your Authorized Service Centre/Service Agent to determine availability and timeframe for delivery.

    5. What repairs on my buggy / stroller require an authorized service center?

    Wheels, fixtures, fittings and chassis repairs require the attendance of an approved Maclaren Service Agent. To locate your nearest Service Agent please follow the link below:

    6. Where can I get my stroller repaired?

    Wheels (buggy models prior to 2016), fixtures, fittings and chassis repairs require the attendance of an approved Maclaren Service Agent. click here to locate your nearest Authorized Service Centre.

    7. Can I purchase replacement parts for my Maclaren buggy?

    In most instances replacement parts are available for buggy models manufactured in the last five years. Customers can replace some parts on their own, while other parts require the buggy to be sent to an Authorized Service Centre for repair to ensure buggy integrity and safety. Please Contact Us for further assistance.

    8. Where can I buy replacement hoods, seats, harnesses?

    Please Contact Us with your request. One of our representatives will reach out to you for payment. Please include the following information in your email:

  • Please be aware that if your stroller is older than 5 years parts may be limited or no longer available.


    9. What parts on my buggy / stroller can I replace?

    In general customers can replace seats, harnesses, shopping nets and hoods. Products manufactured in 2016 and beyond also have the ability to replace wheels, foam handle grips in addition to the other items listed above.
